Below is the ambulance
certificate, which is accessed through the ADD INFO button on the Charge
Entry screen. The ambulance certificate is completed for each run, and
can be automated for dialysis runs that require the same information
run after run. It is also possible to create hot-keys for the origin
and destination fields that greatly speed up the entry of information
in this window.
Once you have completed
both the Charge Entry and Additional information windows, the run is
saved and will either file electronically or print to a paper claim.
Ambulance manager will submit claims electronically to your Medicare
carrier. Medicare carriers are required to accept claims in the National
Standard Format(NSF); Ambulance manager can generate the NSF format
in any of the versions that your Medicare carrier might require.
